Your files never leave your browser. Here’s exactly what else this page discloses, in plain language.
Every PDF tool on this site runs client-side. Your files are read locally by your browser using the File API, processed with JavaScript/WebAssembly libraries, and the result is generated locally. Your PDF, image, or document content is never transmitted to any server we operate — this is the one promise that never changes.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic — things like which tool pages are popular and which countries visitors come from. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior in an anonymous form. This tells us general usage trends; it never has access to the files you process with our tools, because those never leave your device. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking site-wide by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this and other websites. The DART cookie enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of the use of the DART cookie for interest-based advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings, and you can learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Ad cookies and analytics cookies are only ever set by your browser talking directly to Google — we never see or store that data ourselves.
We do not store the files you process in localStorage, IndexedDB, or cookies. Any temporary in-memory data used while a tool runs is discarded when you close or refresh the tab. This is separate from the advertising/analytics cookies described above, which are set by Google, not by our own code.
All PDF processing libraries (pdf-lib, pdf.js, JSZip, signature_pad, markdown-it, html2canvas, qpdf-wasm) are bundled locally with this site — none are loaded from a CDN, and none phone home with your file content. See /licenses/ for full attribution.
