Page numbers are one of those small details that make a document noticeably more professional and easier to reference — "see page 12" only works if page 12 actually has a visible number on it. minipdftoosz's Add Page Numbers tool stamps a number onto every page of your PDF automatically, with control over position (which corner or edge) and starting number, using pdf-lib to draw the number as real text directly into each page.
Because numbering is generated automatically across the whole document rather than typed manually page by page, there's no risk of a typo or a skipped number partway through a long document — the tool counts pages itself and stamps each one correctly and consistently, whether the document is 3 pages or 300. Position options (bottom-center, bottom-right, top-right, and similar standard placements) cover the conventional spots readers expect page numbers to appear.
